Santa is Coming to Dunblane!

Our very own Santa will be in his sleigh on the streets of Dunblane during the week of 9th December 2024, and with the help of his Beaver, Cub, and Scout elves, collecting donations for local charity.

In previous years we the Scouts Santa Sleigh has supported Ross Dowey, Ochils Mountain Rescue, The Dunblane Centre, and Ripple Retreat.

Click here to donate today and support to the fundraising efforts of our young people in the 4th/85th Dunblane Scout Group.

Or hold the camera on your phone up to this QR code to link directly to our Givey Donation page to donate via card and leave a comment. We really enjoy reading them all!

2024 Group Camp Report

This year’s 4th/85th Group Camp at Lochearnhead Scout Station was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you to all the leaders, parent helpers, and parents who made it possible. We offered an overnight camp to 125 kids: a two night overnight camp to 36 Cubs, 44 Scouts, and 15 Explorers, as well as a one-night overnight to 30 Beavers!

There was cycling along the stunning National Cycle Network trail, kayaking on the little lochan nearby, and SO MANY GAMES as well as the best scouts campfire I have ever seen. Take a look at some of the photos below.

2024 Group Camp This Weekend!

Lochearnhead Scout Station | 6 – 8 September, 2024

Our first Group Camp in two years is gearing up with more than 100 kids (beavers, cubs, scouts, and explorers) planning to attend. We’ve got bike rides along the Glen Lyon trail, hikes, watersports on the lochan a short ride in the minibus up the A85, the soapy slide, campfire, wide games, Scouts Own, pioneering, axe throwing, fire lighting, board games, crafts, and more planned!

CAMP THEME: BRAVE
We’re looking for young people to dress up in tartan with woad/warpaint and reflect on what being brave means to them.
